Google Pay Enters Partnership with MMTC-PAMP India to Allow Gold Trading

Google Pay users will soon get to buy and sell gold as the parent company Google has joined hands with bullion refiner MMTC-PAMP. According to an official statement, the users will be able to buy 99.99% 24-karat gold with the help of India’s only LBMA accredited gold refinery.

Google Pay India Director Product Management Ambarish Kenghe said that India is the second largest consumer of gold in the world because of its culture and traditions. He said now the app users will get to buy gold of any value which will be stored by MMTC-PAMP on their behalf.
