Google won’t be launching Google Pixel 4 in India.

Google 4 Pixel features a radar sensor on which you can wave your hands at your phone to execute actions and has a 60 GHz spectrum.

In India, there are a licensing issues due to 60 GHz spectrum.

Though the sources haven’t declared exact reasons it is said Google failed to gain permission from the government to release Pixel 4 with a 60 GHz wave frequency band.

The company on Tuesday also stated,” Google has a wide range of products that we make available in different regions around the world. We determine availability based on a variety of factors, including local trends, and product features. We decided not to make Pixel 4 available in India.

We remain committed to our current Pixel phones and look forward to bringing future Pixel devices to India.”
