Government Invites Tenders for 3,000 MV Solar Projects

Pushing the deployment of solar energy plants across the nation further, the union government has invited bids for its 3,000 MV solar projects for an inter-state transmission system. This makes the total energy requirement placed to stand at 5,000 MW, since earlier in January it had invited bids for 2,000 MW for inter-state transmission as well.
The government is issuing tenders actively lately to meet its grand target of 100 GW capacity in solar power by 2022.
