The Union Health Ministry has issued new guidelines to contain the spread of the virus in offices, the disinfection process will be necessary. Work can resume after disinfection has been completed as per the guidelines, which were issued last week.
If a large number of cases are reported in the office, the whole area will be disinfected before the work is resumed. Employees residing in containment zones should not attend the office till the containment zone is clear.
Office in containment zones should remain closed except for medical and essential services. The guidelines stated that only asymptomatic employees shall be allowed entry, social distancing should be maintained in common places, and the use of masks should be done at all times.

Meetings should be done through video conferencing and large physical gatherings should be avoided. There should be a proper cleaning & sanitization of the workplace, at least twice a day. Employees should regularly check their temperature & must see a doctor if they feel unwell.
