GST Council Slashes Rates on 23 Items, Here’s the List

This Saturday, the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Council reduced the tax rate for 23 items from 28% to 18% including TVs’ power banks, etc. The following is a detailed list:
- Monitors and TVs of screen size up to 32 inches, power banks using lithium-ion batteries, digital cameras, video game consoles, and other games, etc.
The Council has also reduced the rate on certain items from 5% to nil. These are:
- music books, vegetables (frozen, branded, and put in a unit container)
