GST E-way System May Get Implemented from March 7

The launch of the GST e-way bill which was postponed due to technical glitches earlier may finally be implemented on March 7, an official from National Informatics Centre (NIC) said.
The official said that even though the NIC wants to take its time and launch the bill on April 1st after ensuring that the system is devoid of any problems, the finance ministry is pushing them to ready it by March 7th.
The e-way bill that aims at streamlining the transportation of goods in India under the GST regime was previously launched on Feb 1st. However, the system crashed on the first day itself and invited flak from the industry stakeholders.
