GSTN Portal Needs to be More Interactive, Says Sushil Modi

In light of the several complaints that were raised regarding technical glitches in filing returns on the Goods and Services Tax Network (GSTN) portal, the government is working on making the platform more interactive and convenient for the taxpayers, head of GSTN portal’s group of ministers Sushil Modi said.
Modi said that he has asked Infosys, the IT company appointed as the Managed Service Provider (MSP) for the GST, to make the system more “user-friendly and interactive”. He also said that a meeting regarding the GSTN has been scheduled for the Group of Ministers on December 16.
