Harsimrat Kaur Badal Expects $10 bn Investment from World Food India Event

The three-day World Food India event that starts tomorrow may bring in a net investment of $10 billion, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries Harsimrat Kaur Badal said.  She added that not only it will create more than 10 lakh jobs, it will also help in achieving the goal of doubling the farmers’ income by 2022.

The global food event that’s to take place in India for the first time is expected to see delegates from more than 60 different countries.
