Haryana Homebuyers to Approach Consumer Forum Against “Diluted” RERA

Agitated with the “diluted” rules under the Real Estate Regulation and Development Act (RERA) and to safeguard their interests, homebuyers of the state are planning to take up the issue with the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC).

A great number of Gurgaon residents are miffed with the watered-down version of the RERA and allege that the state Act that’s meant to protect the interest of the homebuyers is actually favoring the builders instead.

NCDRC is a small-scale judicial commission in India established under the Consumer Protection Act and has over 13.5 thousand pending cases.
