HDFC bank deploys mobile ATMs in India

In a view or rapidly rising Covid cases in the country, private loan specialist HDFC Bank has sent mobile ATMs in a few urban areas the nation over to enable individuals to withdraw money without visiting ATM.

The move is planned to help clients manage the circumstance in a superior way in the midst of the quick spread of Covid-19 diseases that have prompted localized lockdowns.

As per the bank, these portable ATMs will contact 19 urban cities including, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Vijayawada, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Cuttack, Hosur, Trichy, Salem, Dehradun, Lucknow, and Allahabad. The bank will work with local authorities in identifying areas for the mobile ATMs in the separate urban cities while keeping up severe Covid protocols, for example, Use of masks, hand sanitizers, and social distancing.

“At restricted, sealed areas, the ‘Mobile ATMs’ will wipe out the requirement for the overall population to move out of their locality to withdraw cash.
