HDFC Rolls Out “All-Inclusive” DigiPOS Machines

Pushing the digitization movement even further, private lender HDFC Bank has launched DigiPOS Point of Sale Machines that offer multiple payment options such as Bharat QR, UPI, PayZapp, SMS Pay, along with the traditional debit cards and credit cards.

HDFC Bank is planning to replace all the existing PoS machine (which are above 4 lakhs in count) with the DigiPOS machines in the next few months. Moreover, no merchant is required to pay anything for this.

According to HDFC Bank’s country head Parag Rao, Digital PoS machines is a big step towards encouraging the customers and merchants to adopt the new digital payment options.
