Here’s What Will Happen if You will Fail to Link PAN with Aadhaar

If you will fail to link your PAN with Aadhaar, then it will become inoperational from October 1. Previously, the rule dictated that failing to link the two documents can result in the invalidation of PAN.
The difference between an invalid PAN and inoperational PAN is that in case of the former, it’s like having no PAN at all. However, in the second option, PAN exists but it can’t be used to initiative transactions.
