HSBC Appoints Jayant Rikhye as CEO of India Group

Private sector lender HSBC said that Jayant Riskhye, who is currently the head of the strategy for the Asia-Pacific region, will be replacing Stuart Milne for the position of Chief Executive Officer.
Milne will complete a term of 5 years with the bank as its country head. He was behind some of the most radical decisions like reducing its retail branch presence by almost half and quitting severing businesses like retail broking, private banking, etc. Riskhye, on the other hand, joined the bank way back in 1989.
