IDBI Bank Employees to Go on Strike on October 24-25

All India Bank Employees’ Association (AIBEA) said that the employees of IDBI Bank will demonstrate strike on October 24 and 25. They demand wage revision that’s been long overdue.
The wage revision for the IDBI Bank’s employees is pending for the period 1.11.2013 to 31.10.2017. This is despite the fact that the same was settled at all the other banks in the industry in May 2015 itself.
Calling it “regrettable and deplorable”, AIBEA said IDBI Bank has been delaying the issue unwarrantedly.
