IDBI Bank Employees Threaten 6-Day Strike to Oppose Equity Sale to LIC
IDBI bank employees are planning to launch a 6-day strike starting this Monday to protest against the lender’s proposed merger with the insurance giant LIC Pvt Ltd. The bank, in a regulatory filing, said that it has received a notice from a group of officers mentioning about them going on a strike from July 16 to July 21. 

IDBI bank’s employees have gone on multiple strikes in the recent past as well in which they demanded adequate wage revision which is pending for many years.
