IGL to Spend Rs. 600 cr for Expansion of CNG, PNG Operations

Indraprastha Gas Ltd. (IGL) is planning to invest Rs. 600 crores in the current financial year to expand its Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Piped Natural Gas(PNG) business in Haryana through City Gas Distribution (CGD) networks.

IGL Chairman S Ramesh recently informed the company shareholders that they have won the CGD license for Haryana’s Karnal district- a green signal to expand business in the state.

IGL is currently the only supplier of CNG and PNG in Delhi, Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad.
