India Bank Slashes Interest Rates

India Bank has changed the interest rates on foreign currency non-resident banking deposits with effect from September 1, 2017. These are:

  • 2.44% (from current 2.45%): for deposits of one year and above but less than two years
  • 2.56% (from current 2.60%): for deposits of two years and above but less than three years
  • 2.67% (from current 2.75%): for deposits of three years and above but less than four years
  • 2.75% (from current 2.86%): for deposits of four years and above but less than five years
  • 2.86% (from current 2.96%): for deposits up to five years
