India changes shopping behavior during lockdown

Shopping behavior is changing in India as people are shopping during office hours. People are buying daily essentials online especially during the lockdown.

Rajeev Agarwal, CEO, Innoviti, a leading point of sale (PoS) deployer said, “Offline transactions have declined during evening hours and have replaced by afternoon”.

Around 70% of grocery shopping over 3,000 stores took place during the lockdown.
