India One of the “most open” economies: Suresh Prabhu

Union minister Suresh Prabhu who was addressing the business community recently said that India is a “very open economy” that wants to ink pacts and maintain trade relations with all countries. He also said that India has Foreign Direct Investments (FDIs) in all sectors, including defense.
Prabhu said that India is working with the 10-member Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Cooperation (RCEP) which aims at creating a comprehensive free trade agreement of huge significance.
