Indian CEOs Make as Much Money as 1200 Times of the Staff

A huge gap has been observed between the salaries of the Chief Executive Officers and the average staff of the companies. According to the remuneration disclosures made by some of the biggest companies under the blue-chip index Sensex, senior executives such as CEOs and CFOs receive salary packages up to 1,200 times of the other employees.
While the salary packages for the executive chairmen and CEOs seem to have increased over the past couple of years, those of the average staff have remained the same, or worse- reduced even.
