Indian IT asking their employees to reskill

IT industries are reskilling their employees a good way to reduce the time they spend on the bench waiting for the following customer project.

IT and software services industry is switching their focus towards new technologies like data analytics, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity which is much needed nowadays.

There is an increased focus on management, financial training, and virtual team management. These trainings tend to show up outdoor of normal working hours however companies are increasingly asking the workforce to prioritize reskilling to land new customer projects quicker and reduce the time spent on the bench.

Neeti Sharma, Senior VP of staffing and solutions provider TeamLease services said, “According to the current situation it is cost-effective to choose to upskill their employees instead of hiring new employees which will be time-consuming”.
