Indian Overseas Bank is all set to implement Bharat Bill Payment System

Public sector Indian Overseas Bank (IOB) has rolled out the NPCI (National Payments Corporation of India)-introduced Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) for its customers. The platform allows the users to make inter-operable bill payments via the Internet.
BBPS covers the payments of a variety of services including DTH, electricity, gas bills, water bills, etc.
IOB is one of the three to get RBI’s approval for providing the service. The other two are Union Bank of India and Bank of Baroda.
According to IOB, the certification process is completed and the service is already integrated into the existing system.
