Indian Post Payments Bank to be Launched in September
The much-anticipated Indian Post Payments Bank (IPPB) finally has an official launch date. B Chandrasekhar, who is the Chief Postmaster General of Telangana Circle said that it’s set to be launched in Telangana Postal Circle in 23 branches and 115 access points in September. Across the nation, the launch will take place in 650 branches and 3,250 access points, and in Delhi, it will be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. 

Chandrasekhar said that IPPB aims to provide affordable and easily accessible banking services to the common man as well as promote Financial Inclusion agenda.
