Indians Prefer Biometrics Over Passwords: Visa

According to a recent report by the global payments network company Visa, the majority of Indians are more interested in using biometrics such as facial recognition, fingerprints, etc. than the traditional passwords or PINs for the verification of their identities or making payments.

The report said that passwords or PINs are difficult to enter on small screens and can be easily forgotten too, compared to which biometrics are more convenient.

As per the report, 99% of the respondents said that they are interested in using at least one biometric method to verify their identity or to make payments.
