India’s Mail Delivery System to Get a Boost from India Post, TCS Partnership

The Department of Posts has joined hands with the country’s largest IT company TCS to revamp the mail delivery system, improve customer service, and introduce new tech-powered products to increase revenue.
One of the main components of the new transformation is the Core System Integration (CSI) which will be built by TCS. Under this, an enterprise resource planning (solution) shall be implemented that can help with finance and accounting, mail operations, etc. and connect the 150,000+ post offices with each other.
