Inflation Crosses RBI’s 4 Percent Target in November

Reaching the highest rate of 4.88% in the past 15 months and making a big jump from the mere 3.58% rate of October, the annual inflation breached the 4% medium-term target of the central bank RBI in November.

As the prices of fuel and food have risen considerably in the past few months, the inflation outlook of the nation has deteriorated. Understanding the same, the RBI has raised its inflation projection to 4.3%-4.7% up to March 2018.
