IT, Finance Make for Half of the Jobs Offered

According to a study of the top 250 listed companies that was conducted by investment bank CLSA, around 45 lakh jobs were generated by the companies. However, more than 50% of these jobs were created by two sectors alone which are finance and IT.
The study said that finance companies provide jobs to 28% of the workforce while IT provides jobs to 26% of the workforce. It also said that the public sector provided jobs to a 60% workforce within the finance domain.
