Kisan rath app launched for farmers by government

The National Informatics centre (NIC), have developed Kisan rath app for farmers and traders to transport agricultural products from farms to markets. The app will provide best options for transport needs and even provide the possibility of sharing transport vehicles.
Ajay Bansal, state coordinator, eNational Agriculture Market (eNAM), Punjab, said, “The farmers can register their product for transport on this app and even trackers can sell their products in empty space available in the vehicle”.
The app is available on Android as of now in eight different languages. Transporters available on the app will get ratings from the users. The app will be available for apple users by next week.
