As Many as 600 Companies May Invest in India to Create 700,000 Jobs

Sans Heavy Industry, which is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of engineering machinery, along with 600 other companies are planning to invest about $85 billion in India that will result in the creation of about 700,000 jobs over the course of the next five years.
The government’s foreign investment promotion firm, Invest India, will actively promote the country to get as many investors on board as possible and has already created a list of 200 companies that haven’t entered the Indian market yet.
Deepak Bagla, who is the MD of Invest India, said that they want to achieve a target of $100 billion foreign investment in the next two years.
