Modi Eyes Self-Employment, World Bank Says Jobs More Important

It would seem that prime minister Narendra Modi and the World Bank are on the opposite ends of what they think is the best for India.
In a recent parliament session, Modi said that in the “New India” the youth seeks entrepreneurship and wants to create jobs. However, the World Bank said that with the working force increasing, what India really needs is stable jobs that can offer regular salaries. According to its data, only 20% of India’s working population has salaried employment.
