Multi-Million Dollar IT Deal Signed Between Vodafone Idea and IBM

This Friday, India’s largest telecom operator Vodafone Idea Ltd. signed an IT outsourcing deal worth multi-million dollars with tech leader IBM. Although it didn’t disclose the details of the deal itself, sources say that it’s worth around 700 million USD.
The telecom company said that the partnership will offer Vodafone Idea a hybrid cloud platform that can enhance the engagement with over 387 million subscribers. It will also improve business agility and help in the simplification of its business processes, the company said.
