NDA Govt Now Plans to Introduce 10% EWS Quota in Private Universities

The NDA Government had only recently passed the legislation to introduce 10% reservation to the economically weaker section of the society in government jobs, and now, it’s working to introduce the same in private universities as well.
Sources that are aware of the developments said that a draft legislation is almost ready and discussions are underway. They said that the government looks to implement the existing reservation for SC, ST, and OBC groups along with a new EWS quota in private institutes as well.
