NDA Govt to Launch Mega Jobs Programme for the Unemployed

In light of the massive problem of unemployment in India, three ministries i.e. the Ministry of Skill Development, Human Resource Development, and Labor Development have teamed up to train undergraduates as well as generate new jobs starting the new year. This is seen as a measure to woo voters with the general elections nearing.
The mega “apprenticeship” programme is catered towards students of non-technical courses. It will provide them on-job along with stipends in the final year of their degree programmes.
