New Cryptocurrency to be Unveiled by Facebook

Facebook is expected to unveil its own cryptocurrency Libra which is reportedly endorsed by governments and financial institutions. The company will disclose the details of the virtual currency which is scheduled for launch next year.
More than a dozen top companies including Uber, Paypal, and Visa have reportedly invested around 10 million USD into a consortium called “Libra” which will govern the cryptocurrency.
According to some reports, the social media giant has already received approval from the US Treasury and the Bank of England.
