New Govt’s Priority to Kick-Start Economy to be Realized Soon, Says India Inc

This Friday, India Inc said that re-elected NDA government’s priority to kick-start the economy will soon come into effect. It’s worth noting that India lost the title of the fastest growing economy recently as its GDP grew only at 5.8%. In the financial year 2018-19, the GDP grew at 6.8% compared to 7.2% in the financial year 2017-18.
T V Narendran who is MD in Tata Steel said that the main focus of the new cabinet should be on fixing the economy. Similarly, TVS Chairman Venu Srinivasan said that there is a lack in the supply of money among the people which has led to a crisis in the NBFC sector.
