New Rs. 200 Notes to be Released in Two Weeks to Create History

For the first time in history, the Reserve Bank of India is planning to release currency notes of Rs. 200 denomination which will put an end to carrying change all the time. According to a report by a leading media agency, RBI is going to release Rs. 200 bank notes by the end of this month or the first week of September, i.e. the next month.
The report also said that since there is a big gap between Rs. 100 notes and Rs. 500 notes, the new Rs. 200 notes are likely to become popular. Understanding the same, RBI will ensure that these are readily available to the public.
