NHPC to Invest Rs. 1,000 cr for Odisha 200 MW Solar Project

Energy company NHPC is planning to invest Rs. 1,000 crores in a 100-200 MW capacity solar project in Odisha.
The firm has already partnered with some of the central public sector banks that are going to place multiple such projects in the state as a part of the its solar park programme.
Apart from NHPC, SJVN Ltd., NLC, and North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Ltd. (NEEPCO) have also shown eagerness in joining the programme.
