Non-Credit Services to Cost More for Punjab National Bank Customers

With effect from September 1, 2017, the customers of Punjab National Bank (PNB) will have to pay a fee for depositing cash of amount Rs. 5,000 or higher in a non-base branch irrespective of the fact whether it’s in the same city or not. Currently, the same fee is levied only for the deposited amounts above Rs. 25,000.

As per the changes, a customer will have to pay Rs. 1 per Rs. 1,000 extra above Rs. 5,000 cash deposits or a flat fee of Rs. 25 (whichever is greater). For an outstation branch, the rate will be Rs. 2 per Rs. 1000 extra above Rs. 5,000 cash deposits.
