Now AU Customers Can Open Accounts on WhatsApp

Customers of AU Small Finance Bank can now open new savings accounts through messaging platform WhatsApp. The Jaipur-based lender is offering the service under a partnership with Karix Mobile on the back of the computer and multi-channel conversational platform.
AU Bank’s customers can initiate the process of opening new savings accounts in less than 5 minutes by interacting with a chat-like feature on WhatsApp. The bank also looks to engage in micro engagements with the customers on the back of the feature.
AU Small Finance Bank CEO and MD Sanjay Agarwal said that WhatsApp has become a part of our everyday lives and considering its huge impact, the bank has decided to engage with the target demographic using the service.
