NPA Resolution: Banks to Bring 25 Companies Before NCLT

After the deadline for the resolution of stressed accounts ended on December 13 for the banks, they are now left with 28 accounts. Out of these, 23-25 will be referred to the National Company Law Tribunal as the remaining ones they will be able to resolve on their own, sources said.

The Reserve Bank of India has earlier announced that the concerned lenders should resolve the stressed announced mentioned in the first list of mega defaulters by December 13. Otherwise, these must be referred to the NCLT by December 31.
