Ola Gets Nod for London Tax Business

The transport regulator in London has given approval to Ola Cabs for launching private hire vehicles (PHV) in the city. This will now allow the domestic ride-sharing company to give tough competition to Uber Technologies Inc. and Bolt, which is another leading ride-sharing service that received its license to operate this June.
A one-year carriage license has been granted by Transport For London (TFL) to Ola UK Pvt. Ltd. under which the drivers are required to list their vehicles as privately registered vehicles for hire and apply for individual licenses.
