Over 4 Lakh Apartments in 9 Cities Unsold

According to property brokerage firm PropTiger.com, as many as 4.12 lakh apartments of value 45 lakhs or less each are yet to be sold in light of the increased demand for affordable houses.

The firm’s CEO Dhruv Agarwala said that the unsold homes costing ₹45 lakhs or less will become in-demand as soon as the government will hike the income tax deduction limit on home loan interest to ₹3.5 lakhs from the current ₹2 lakhs. He also said that he doesn’t think that there will be a considerable improvement in new supply with developers.
