Pandemic altered the Indian consumer behavior

The Covid-19 pandemic has permanently altered consumer behaviour in India and nearly 90% of those surveyed are making lasting adjustments to how they live, work, and save, and there’s no going back to the pre-pandemic world for customer brands, a new report said on Monday.

According to Accenture’s ‘Covid-19 Consumer Pulse Research’ that surveyed 2,500 customers in India between March and June (among 45,000 globally), 85% of purchasers in the nation stated they shopped greater health-consciously even as 85% said they have been centered greater on limiting meals waste.

Anurag Gupta, Managing Director and Lead, Strategy and Consulting, Accenture in India stated, “The pandemic has taken a toll on brand loyalty and as purchasers make extra socially and environmentally sustainable and healthful picks, customer goods companies ought to tailor their services thus and refresh their brand promise to meet those new requirements”.
