Paytm May Soon Introduce P2P Lending Business

According to a report by Business Standard, the parent company of Paytm i.e. One97 Communications is in talks with Clix Capital to get equity in the lending company to have its own peer-to-peer (P2P) lending business. The report that the discussions are in an advanced stage and that now the finer details of the deals are being considered. 

According to another source, Paytm has already registered with the Reserve Bank of India to operate a P2P lending platform although the service is yet to begin.
