Paytm Unveils FASTag to Make Payments at Toll Booths Faster

In a bid to make payments at toll booths faster and smoother, Paytm Payments Bank has launched Paytm FASTag, an electronic toll-free collection radio frequency identification tag (RFID) that will be used by the drivers on the highways across the country.
Paytm has already partnered with a number of automobile companies to attach its RFID to their cars. For now, the digital wallet company is working with the likes of BMW, Mercedes, Maruti, etc. to promote its FASTags.
Cars that have FASTags installed will be able to pay the toll plaza fees through the balance of Paytm accounts.
