Personal Loan Ticket Size Increased 60% in 4 yrs: Report

In the last few years, personal loans have gone through a dramatic change as the average number of loans per person have increased, with unsecured loans overtaking secured loans in terms of overall growth.

According to recent report “India Financials- Sand Sifting” by the Macquarie Group, personal loans are on the rise in India. It said that the average amount of debt per household is increasing although the income levels are not budging.

The report said that the average ticket size of personal loans has jumped by 60% in the past 4 years.
