Petrol, Diesel Get Costlier by ₹2 in Budget 2019

As cess and excise duty on petrol and diesel have been increased by ₹1, the overall cost of the fuels has been increased by ₹2. Post revision, petrol, and diesel are sold at ₹72.96 and ₹66.69 in Delhi at prices ₹2.45 and ₹2.36, respectively. In the same way, they are sold at ₹78.57 and ₹69.90 in Mumbai, up by ₹2.42 and ₹2.5, respectively.
