PNB Fraud: CBI Questions Allahabad Bank Chief

Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) which has made the PNB scam a top priority for investigation is now questioning Allahabad Bank’s CEO and MD Ananthasubramanian regarding the same as she was once held senior positions in PNB i.e. during August 14, 2015 and May 6, 2017 as the CEO and MD.
CBI said that Ananthasubramanian is not being questioned as an “accused” but rather regarding how the massive transactions were approved under her watch and whether they were red-flagged in the audit reports.
