PNB Fraud: Non-Bailable Warrant Issued Against Nirav Modi, Mehul Choksi

As per recent media reports, a Mumbai-based special court for Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) has issued a non-bailable warrant against the two prime-accused in Rs. 12,700 crores PNB scam, i.e., Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi.

The reports also said that when Nirav Modi was earlier asked to join the probe by Enforcement Directorate, he responded via email saying that the passport authority has suspended his passport.
