Political Ad Spending on Google, Facebook Clocks at Over ₹53 cr

As per Ad Library Report of Facebook, as much as ₹26.5 crores have been spent by the political parties on the platform so far through 1.21 lakh political ads. In the same way, political ad spending on platforms like YouTube, Google Search, etc. reached the amount of ₹27.36 crores with nearly 15,000 ads.

The data shows that BJP party is the biggest spender on political ads, as it’s spent over ₹17 crores on Google platforms, and ₹4.23 crores on Facebook. Another top party Indian National Congress (INC), on the other hand, has spent ₹2.71 crores on Google and ₹1.46 crores on Facebook.
